I am at Kurukshetra. This is the place where Bhagavad-Gita was preached by Krishna to Arjuna. As soon as I stepped in this kshetra it reminded me of “Bhagavat-Gita Parichayam” CD recording done by your Appaji. All Datta devotees must and should listen to Bhagavad-Gita Parichayam regularly.

I just now visited Brahma Sarovara Tank. There is a Katyayani Devi temple near it. A dip in the Sarovara redeems one from all sins, so before commencement of the Kurukshetra war Lord Krishna made Pandavas to worship mother Goddess Katyayani after taking a dip in the Sarovara.

Today I went to Shukasthal. It was the place where Shuka maharishi narrated Bhagavata to Parikshit Maharaj. The place was very wonderful and blissful. I remembered you while I was sitting under the 5000 year old Banyan tree and listening to Bhagavata discourse. Since 12 years you all have been enjoying Appaji’s Bhagavata discourses telecast on Gemini Channel. In a few more days you all will be blesse with Dashama Skanda of Bhagavata on Gemini Channel. Bhagavata discourses are being telecast in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada in various channels.

I am planning to conduct Bhagavata saptaha in the month of Nov-2010 at Shukasthal. Any one interested can join the program. Don’t miss the opportunity.

The chief motive in doing good actions is not for earning name or fame. Performance of good actions in the right spirit is sacred. But dreadful are the results of the fame earned through pretentious acts. On the other hand, noble and selfless actions done quietly will help one cross the ocean of Samsara (worldliness).

Visited Abirami Temple of Tirukkadaiyur. It is associated with the legends of Markandeya. At Pondicherry grand reception was given by Mr. V. Vaithalingam CM of Pondicherry and Mr. A. Namasivayam Minister local administration Pondicherry. Presently I am at Pondicherry ashram and will be leaving to Mysore.

Chennai program was good. Yesterday, I visited Patteswaram temple near Kumbakonam. Had darshan of Lord Ganapati, Shiva and Durgadevi. Today morning I visited Thirunallar Shani temple. At Thirunallar had darshan of Swarna Ganapati, Valli Devasena sameta Subrahmanyam, Darbaranyeswarar Swamy and Prana Amba devi. A Special Mantapam was constructed for Swamiji. Rudra homa, Navagraha shanti homas and abhishekam to Lord Shaneshwara were performed for peace of world. Today evening I will be visiting Abirami temple of Tirukkadaiyur. From there I will be going to Pondicherry. Tomorrow I will fly back to Mysore from Pondicherry. Lord Shaneshwara’s blessing to you and your family.
